A project with fewer than four building sites (will change to nine lots or less as of March 1, 2008).
A detailed analysis of property to determine if it would be possible and/or profitable to develop the land.
A specialized set of drawings and proposals showing all improvements to the site. Follows local regulations. Must be filed with the county or city.
The legal division of a parcel into a number of lots for the purpose of development and sale.
Approval that a short plat is feasible, along with a critical areas review. Plat is subject to conditions, including site construction.
All conditions of preliminary plat approval are met, and the plat may be recorded.
