Paul A. Kuhnle, P.L.S., leads our survey department. Paul has over 35 years of experience in the Land Surveying field, including 9 years as a Professional Land Surveyor registered in the State of Washington. He has performed Surveying services for a myriad of project types, ranging from residential and commercial/industrial projects to military installations, Tribal boundary and platting projects and wind energy facilities as well as heavy construction projects such as highway bridges, dams and viaducts. He also has provided extensive topographic surveys for several projects for the Western & Central Federal Highways Departments. As such, he is familiar with the regulations and requirements of local and federal jurisdictions such as Pierce County, King County and the Department of Defense.
His land surveying career began with training from the U.S. Department of Defense Mapping School and five years of active duty as a construction surveyor. After his Honorable discharge as a Sargent (E-5), he went on to work in the private sector.
