Paddock Woods Low Impact Development Project

(July 15, 2009) The LeRoy's team completed work on a large-scale residential subdivision in Gig Harbor, Washington, using innovative low impact development methodology. Paddock Woods is designed as a unique, exquisite site preserving wetlands, trails, native vegetation and natural water courses. The 70 acre development will consist of 13 large home sites of around 1 acre each. An equestrian arena and extensive riding trails are part of this showcase project. The staff at LeRoy's were able to help maximize the property's unique qualities and preserve existing habitat.

Geotechnical Engineering Lead hired

(July 23, 2007) Bill Creveling, L.G., has joined the LeRoy Surveyors and Engineers team to lead geotechnical engineering services. Creveling comes to the firm from the Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department—where he spent 20 years consulting on public project design. In his previous work, Creveling served as Land Use Program Lead and On-Site Wastewater Program Field Lead.

Geotechnical Added to LSE Services

(June 30, 2007) LeRoy Surveyors and Engineers Inc.—already embarking on a year of unprecedented business growth—recently announced an expansion into geotechnical services. Beginning July 23, LSE will offer soil, rock, groundwater and foundation consulting to public and private projects. The firm provides consulting on geotechnical issues to municipalities, commercial and residential developers, transportation departments, architects and utilities. Services include Subsurface Explorations, Laboratory Testing, Geotechnical and Foundation Reports and Design, Hydrogeologic Assessments, Wastewater Consultations, Soil and Rock Mechanics, Construction Phase Services, Pavement Design, Retaining Wall Design and Slope Stability Studies.

LSE Inc. Expands Engineering Staff

(February 13, 2007) LeRoy Surveyors and Engineers Inc., one of Pierce County's most respected firms, has expanded operations by adding three engineers, including Damon DeRosa, P.E., who will serve as our engineering lead. Damon's experience in the private and public sector--along with his work with Low Impact Development--brings additional depth to the staff at LeRoy's.

(January 12, 2007 ) LeRoy Surveyors and Engineers Inc., was the sponsor of the Puyallup/Sumner Chamber of Commerce New Member Orientation at the Best Western Park Plaza on South Hill. LSE Inc. President Lyle Fox welcomed Pierce County Executive John Ladenburg, who spoke at the event.
