LeRoy Surveyors & Engineers (LSE Inc.) is a full-service consulting firm located in Washington State.

Yes, we're a little different from the average firm. LSE Inc. has been around for half a century, yet we constantly stay ahead of the pack through a culture of excellence and technical innovation. We use experience and creativity as twin engines to fuel our work.

Our perspective is unique. We see your project as more than just an engineering job or survey site. Our work is the foundation for life. The infrastructure we design allows families, businesses, schools, sports teams and every part of society to flourish. Every structure, every development--from the smallest house to a multi-acre site--requires good infrastructure to succeed. We don't provide you with mere numbers or analytical data. We give you stability, safety and strength. What we do--and what you, our clients do--is very important. We never forget this.

Our History

Fifty Years Engineering & Surveying Services in the Northwest

LeRoy Surveyors & Engineers was established in 1959 by H. Wade LeRoy, a pioneer surveyor in the Pacific Northwest. During the formative years, LeRoy was primarily involved in providing services to the government, timber companies and private individuals.

In 1966, LeRoy formed a partnership with Bruce Dennis, a civil engineer. The two began providing consulting, planning and subdividing services to municipalities, agencies, builders and developers in the Northwest, in addition to the company's already well-respected surveying capabilities.

With the real estate boom of the late 70's, the company continued expanding and moved to larger offices on South Hill in Puyallup.

Over the years, LSE Inc. has continued to grow and add to the list of services provided. In 1981, the LeRoy family transferred the ownership of LSE Inc. to Lyle E. Fox, a principal of another successful surveying and engineering corporation in the area. Fox maintained the company's commitment to the highest degree of integrity and the best reputation.

Today, LeRoy Surveyors & Engineers is well-known throughout the region for their expertise in the industry. Along with surveying, LSE Inc. offers engineering, planning, cartography, GIS, GPS, geotechnical services, environmental consultation, urbanization consultation, and low impact development consultation. LSE Inc. is one of the first firms in Pierce County with direct access to the county's online GIS services. We're always on the lookout for new technology and innovative ways to bring value to our clients. You won't find many engineering and surveying firms in the state with the depth of our experience, staff, projects accomplished and civic involvement. Yes, it's our goal to be the best engineering and surveying company in the Northwest.

LSE Inc. is actively involved with counties, cities and other local jurisdictions as a consultant. The company's staff frequently serves on committees and groups that prepare, research and adopt regulations that impact clients, the environment and the industry. We hire bright, passionate individuals who are committed to innovation and creative thinking. Our strong team, many of whom have experience in local counties and cities, is the key to our success.

LSE Inc. is committed to staying involved in our community and our region. President Lyle Fox served as the 2005 President of the Building Industry Association of Washington, one of the nation's largest builders' associations. LSE Inc. was honored twice by the Pierce County Master Builders for excellence, receiving the 2002 and 2003 "Company of the Year" awards. LSE Inc. staff attend many industry conferences and events, and also serve on various industry boards and educational committees.
